The material/products on YWS are owned by their respective  copy right owners.  All use of these materials/products is governed by United States copy right law.

Free files - YWS may provide files, such as, PDF, JPEG and MP3 files available for free.  If YWS offers a download for free, you may also share it with your friends and associates.

YWS.com has special arrangements with some of the copyright holders to offer their material for free.  You are encouraged to share these free products  with friends and associates inside and outside your local church.  You must, however, have a valid membership with CCLI ( and record your use according to their standards in public venues.

Choral music - you are to purchase the number of copies you wish to make for your singers.  For example, if you want to make 50 copies for your choir, you must purchase 50 copies of that particular piece.  The email you receive from YWS  will have the number of copies you have purchased and it is to serve as your receipt, proof of payment and authorization  for the number of copies in your possession.  Please file this email as your receipt and proof of purchase.

MP3 downloads - you are authorized to download these files for your own use.  It is in violation of copy right law to share these files, unless specific permission is granted due to a special agreement YWS.com may have with an artist/composer.  Some composer/artists allow YWS to distribute their work for free.  If an MP3 download is provided for free on the YWS site, you are encouraged to share it with friends and associates.  Otherwise, it is unlawful to share these files.

Our goal at YWS.com is to honor God with what we offer on our site.  It is designed to be an aid to you in your personal and professional life.  Illegal copying and file sharing does not honor God.
